Greetings everyone,
I wish to warn you all to not do business with the vile Critical Thinking Company. Multiple people have expressed the opinion that their materials are overpriced and the quality is severely lacking. One Amazon reviewer expressed how their child (who is only four) completed all the subjects in a booklet from The Critical Thinking Co. is less than an hour. Essentially, all you're doing is paying too much money to validate every single stigma tied to homeschooling. You're compromising your children's future to satisfy the greed of others.
Poor materials is one thing, but I grew particularly concerned when they gave me material that was so poorly put together and so flimsy that they actually broke upon normal usage. I contacted them about it and they refused to refund it; they insisted that *I* abused the material. I'm not a bitter person, I'm not one to get so upset over a loss of money that I'd bother blogging about it. I've wasted money in my life in the past like we all have. What particularly concerned me, though, was that The Critical Thinking Co. is not only so poor when it comes to its products, but that they had absolutely no respect for my consent when I described the situation with what they gave me. If they treat adults this way, just imagine how they treat kids? I will not dare to assert definitively that the staff members there are child molesters, there isn't proof of that yet, but I absolutely will say that The Critical Thinking Company located in Oregon enables pedophilia by not valuing people's consent. The characteristics of unidentified child abusers are there. From not respecting consent to having much lousy products, as though they had no interest in helping home school students, they just wanted to have an excuse to get close to kids on a one-by-one level.
My motivation for this post is solely the well-being of your children. I am not here to promote any particular other program for homeschooling materials; I literally would recommend anyone else as you're statistically almost certain to find someone better and the worse case scenario is finding a company that's just as bad. I truly believe it is impossible to find anyone worse.
